Short answer: a ReqMe workspace currently has one role — an administrator, with access to everything. There are no restricted seats yet. If your business needs them, ask and we will look at your case.
How it works today #
Your workspace belongs to one account, and whoever signs in with it can see and do everything: requests, proposals, contracts, invoices, the AI assistant, integrations and billing.
For a solo consultant or a small studio where everyone already sees everything, this is usually fine and worth not over-thinking.
Where it stops being fine #
Sharing one login is a real limitation once more than one person works in the account, and it is worth being clear about why rather than discovering it later:
- The signature record names the account, not the person. When a contract is signed from your side, the evidence carries who the account belongs to. With one shared login you cannot show which colleague actually signed.
- Every login needs the code emailed to that account’s address. Whoever holds that inbox gates everyone else’s access.
- Everyone sees billing and every client. There is no way to give someone requests without also giving them your plan, your payment details and every other client’s documents.
The first point matters most if signatures are part of how you work.
If you need more than one seat #
Tell us what you need and why — how many people, and what each should and should not reach. Roles are the kind of thing built around real cases rather than guessed at, and a concrete description of yours is genuinely useful.
Practical advice meanwhile #
If several people must share the account, use a shared mailbox rather than one person’s inbox for the login address. Sign-in codes then reach everyone who needs them, and nobody is locked out because a colleague is away.
Frequently asked questions #
Can I invite a colleague? #
Not yet. There is one account per workspace.
Can I give someone access to requests but not billing? #
Not currently — that is exactly the case worth telling us about.
Can two people be signed in at once? #
They would be signed in as the same account, and each sign-in needs the emailed code.
Does the signature show who on my team signed? #
It records the account. With a shared login, it cannot distinguish colleagues.
