ReqMe helps service providers manage client relationships through a structured deal flow. This guide explains how each stage works and how they connect.
The Deal Lifecycle #
Every client interaction in ReqMe follows a clear path:
Request → Proposal → Contract → Invoice → Deliverables → Completion
This structured approach ensures nothing falls through the cracks and gives both you and your clients clarity at every step.
Stage 1: Request #
Clients submit requests through your public ReqMe page or you create them manually. Each request captures what the client needs, their contact information, and any relevant details. Requests appear in your dashboard where you can review, respond, and move them forward.
Stage 2: Proposal #
Once you understand what a client needs, create a proposal outlining your recommended approach, pricing, and timeline. ReqMe can generate proposals using AI based on the request details, or you can build them manually. Send proposals directly to clients for review.
Stage 3: Contract #
When a client accepts your proposal, convert it into a formal contract. Contracts include terms and conditions, payment schedules, and space for electronic signatures. Both parties sign digitally to make the agreement official.
Stage 4: Invoice #
Create invoices based on contract terms. Send them to clients and track payment status. If you have connected Stripe, clients can pay online directly through the invoice.
Stage 5: Deliverables #
Track what you need to deliver and share files with clients. Mark items complete as you finish them. Clients can view deliverable status and download files through their portal.
Stage 6: Completion #
Once all deliverables are submitted and final payment received, mark the request as complete. Completed requests move to your archive, keeping your active dashboard focused on current work.
Moving Between Stages #
ReqMe tracks the current status of each request automatically. As you create proposals, contracts, and invoices, the request status updates to reflect where it stands in the lifecycle. You can always see at a glance which requests need attention and what action to take next.
