Client requests are the starting point for every deal in ReqMe. This guide covers how to view, organize, and manage incoming requests effectively.
Viewing Your Requests #
Access all requests from the Requests page in your dashboard. Each request shows the client name, service requested, submission date, and current status. Click any request to open its detail view.
Request Statuses #
ReqMe uses status labels to track where each request stands:
- New – Just received, needs your review
- In Review – You are evaluating the request
- Proposal Sent – Waiting for client response
- Proposal Accepted – Ready for contract
- Contract Sent – Awaiting signatures
- Contract Signed – Ready to invoice
- Invoice Sent – Awaiting payment
- In Progress – Work is underway
- Completed – Deal finished
Filtering and Sorting #
Use filters to focus on specific requests. Filter by status to see only new requests or those awaiting payment. Sort by date, client name, or value to prioritize your workflow.
Communicating with Clients #
Each request has a built-in message thread. Use it to ask questions, share updates, or clarify requirements. Clients receive notifications when you send messages and can reply directly. All communication stays attached to the request for easy reference.
Taking Action #
From the request detail view, you can:
- Create a proposal
- Generate a contract
- Send an invoice
- Add deliverables
- Update the status manually
- Archive or delete the request
ReqMe guides you to the next logical action based on the current request status.
