6.7 Payment Processing & Platform Fees
All payment services on the Reqme platform are provided by Stripe, Inc., a licensed third-party payment processor. By using Reqme — either as a service provider or as a customer — you agree to be bound by Stripe’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
You acknowledge that Stripe is solely responsible for securely processing payments, disbursing funds to service providers, and ensuring compliance with all applicable financial regulations. Reqme does not at any time hold, manage, or transfer funds on behalf of users or service providers.
As a platform, Reqme charges a commission fee of 0.5% on each transaction processed through Stripe. This fee is automatically deducted via Stripe’s platform fee mechanism before funds are paid out to the service provider. The commission may be adjusted in the future and will be communicated in advance.
Reqme operates solely as a digital platform facilitating the connection and communication between users and service providers. We are not a payment institution, escrow agent, or financial services provider, and we do not offer or manage payment services.
It is the sole responsibility of both service providers and clients to ensure that their use of the platform — including any payments, services provided, or services received — complies with all applicable legal and tax obligations in their respective jurisdictions.
6.7.1 Direct Bank Transfers & Manual Payment Confirmation
Service providers may include their own bank account details (e.g., IBAN) in invoices generated through the platform. In such cases, clients may choose to make payments outside the platform via direct bank transfer.
Reqme does not process, verify, or guarantee the completion of such payments. The platform acts solely as an interface for displaying invoice and service-related information.
To facilitate service tracking, providers have the option to manually mark a request as “Paid.” This action is self-declared by the service provider and does not reflect any verification or confirmation from Reqme. Users are advised to communicate directly with their service provider to confirm payment status.
